Method and system for controlling working of mobile station GPS

The invention provides a method for automatically controlling a built-in GPS of a mobile station to open and close and a system using the method. By monitoring and analyzing the variation of current base station information of the mobile station, the method controls the mobile station GPS to open automatically; and by monitoring and analyzing the current information acquiring situation of the mobile station GPS and the variation of the current base station information of the mobile station, the method controls the mobile station GPS to close automatically. The system which is constructed based on the method realizes real-time monitoring to the current base station information of the mobile station and GPS information and can collect, analyze and store the obtained base station information data and GPS information data effectively.
