Measurements of diffusion characteristics of hydroxyl radical with laser-induced fluorescence at high temperature
2021
Abstract In this study, we investigated the diffusion of hydroxyl (OH) radicals generated from the photodissociation of water using a laser-induced fluorescence technique. By conducting measurements in the 483–891 K range, we determined the effects of the OH diffusion coefficient in helium on temperature, observing a strong correlation to a power function. Moreover, we demonstrated the measurement of the OH diffusion coefficient in an argon carrier gas and in a combustion field.
