Effects of NaCl Stress on the physiological Characteristics of Fraxinus griffithii

2010
Changes in physiological indices caused by NaCl treatment were investigated in Fraxinus griffithii. The results showed that there were decreases in RWS,chlorophyll a,chorophyll b and total chlorophyll in the leaf response to NaCl,and the Na+ content increased gradually with increasing NaCl salinity or processing time.In contrast, the K+ content first decreased and then increased, and the ratios of K+ to Na+ content of leaf.Another,an increase in the amount of the relative conductivity,MDA and the proline content in the leaves.Compared with contorl, the proline content and MDA increased by 96.72% and 73.13% observed in the treatment of 136 mmol·L-1.
