Possible steps required in the internalization of nude Epstein-Barr virus

Abstract The hypothesis proposed is that the internalization of nude EBV by Raji cells—a CR2-positive line—involves a multi-step mechanism. Our data also indicate that Raji cells do not acquire the ability to kill EBV until after the virions attach to the membrane.
