Evaluation of OXA-48 K-Se T: an immunochromatographic assay for rapid detection of OXA-48–producing Enterobacteriaceae

Abstract The OXA-48 K -Se T, a new immunochromatographic assay for rapid detection of OXA-48–producing Enterobacteriaceae , has been evaluated in a Spanish Hospital during a 3-month period. A collection of 100 Enterobacteriaceae including 79 isolates producing OXA-48 has been tested. Sensitivity and specificity of 100% were obtained.
