Transición energética y transporte. El papel de las energías alternativas y las convencionales

In this article, after describing the situation and perspectives of transport in energy transitions, European policies on transport are reviewed, in particular, in relation to sustainable mobility and alternative energies. Next, the so-called Alternative Energies Vehicles (VEA) are examined, specifically electric vehicles, natural gas vehicles and LPG as well as conventional ones (gasoline and diesel). To this end, environmental aspects are analyzed: G+G emissions, nitrogen oxides and particles. SubseTuently, the penetration of the VEAs is addressed, in the horizon 2030, examining different forecasts and assumptions, to conclude with some final thoughts
