Predictions of a Thermoviscoelastic Constitutive Equation for Specific Volume Relaxation in the Glass Transition Region

It has been shown for the first time that fully three dimensional GKAC constitutive model can quantitatively describe as a special case isothermal volume recovery. GKAC model can also describe the "expansion gap", and the memory effects can also be qualitatively predicted. The details of the thermal history can significantly influence the predictions and this issue need additional study.
