A Comparison of the Services Directive with the Case Law of the Court of Justice: A Case Study

This article describes some key features of the Directive in light of the case law of the Court, starting with the question, ‘What is a service?’ Followed by the restrictions on the free movement to provide services, and concluding with the ‘country of origin principle’ and some of its critics.
