The invention provides a self-propelled automatic watering machine for tobacco seedlings, and belongs to tobacco field management machines. The self-propelled automatic watering machine is composed of a self-propelled rack, a control system, a watering system and a power source. The control system is composed of an approach switch, an induction device and a control circuit. The induction device is installed coaxially with rear wheels of the rack. When the self-propelled automatic watering machine for the tobacco seedlings moves under the drive of an engine, the induction device installed on a rear wheel driving shaft rotates along with the rear wheels; when a metal induction piece of the induction device rotates to the position of a probe of the approach switch, the approach switch outputs low level signals to the control circuit, thereby controlling an electromagnetic valve to be opened and finishing watering. Watering amount can be controlled according to the moving speed of the machine and the area of the metal induction piece. The self-propelled automatic watering machine for the tobacco seedlings is well adapted for the sizes of transplanted tobacco plants, and can achieve continuous, efficient and automated operation, solve the problem that manual watering is large in labor intensity, control the watering amount of the tobaccos, and reduce waste of water resources.
