Clinical Analysis of 582 Cases of Dental Emergency Among Vocational College Students

Objective To study the characteristics of vocational college students' dental emergency,and to provide the basis for prevention and treatment. Method A statistical analysis of 582 cases of clinical data of the vocational college students dental emergency,the type of disease and epidemiological characteristics. Results The main reasons for the male oral emergency are toothache (37.86%),dental trauma (32.14%),bleeding (16.07%); the main reasons for female oral emergency are toothache (58.61%),oral mucosal pain (14.91%),bleeding (10.59%); the top three incidence rates are diseases of oral and maxillofacial trauma (20.27%),acute pulpitis (16.32%)and acute apical periodontitis (12.03%). Conclusion Vocational college students should receive oral health education and safety education.Dental emergency dentist must master the emergent treatments of oral and maxillofacial trauma,acute pulpitis and gingival bleeding.
