Conductivity of [R4PcFeL]n and [R8PcFeL]n films on NO2 doping

Abstract Films of soluble substituted polymerized iron phthalocyanine compounds [R 4 PcFeL] n and [R 8 PcFeL] n are elaborated and doped at various temperatures with NO 2 diluted in N 2 and their conductivity is recorded. Doping/dedoping cycles and thermal desorption curves provide information on NO 2 adsorption and on the stability of phthalocyanine compounds on exposure to NO 2 versus ligand species and number of alkoxy substituents.
