Chapter 6 Regulator Roles in Financial Literacy Improvement

Throughout this book, the responsibility of authorities is highlighted, but Chap. 6, in particular, addresses regulators as the core of financial literacy improvement initiatives. It starts by considering IOSCO recommendations regarding the responsibility of regulators in the stock market and what they should conduct in respect of financial education, and reviews concepts of strategic planning for financial literacy improvement.
