Abstract Purpose The aim of this study was to determine the relationships between total lymphocyte count (TLC) and prognosis among inpatients. Patients and methods We retrospectively analyzed data from electronic medical documentation of 54 976 inpatients hospitalized in an urban university hospital during 3 consecutive years (2014–2017).
