病理性瘢痕组织中c-fos和5-HT表达及与其增生和痛痒的关系

2006
Objective To study the expression of two mediums, i. e. c-fos and 5-HT, in abnormal scars and their relationship with hyperplasia, itch and pain. Methods The immunohistochemistry method was applied to study expressions of c-fos and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) in pathologic scars and normal skin. Results In the itching or painful sears, c-fos and 5-HT expressions were all significantly higher than those in non-itching or painful scars and normal skin (F=19.86, 17.61; q=5.13-8.84; P<0.01); the expression of c-fos in non-itching or painful scars was higher than that with normal skin (q=3.41, P<0.01), while 5-HT expression was of no difference (P>0.05). Conclusion The high expressions of c-fos and 5-HT may induce itching and painful symptoms of abnormal scars, and c-fos may contribute to the formation of the abnormal scars.
