Isparta Ozet Diz eklemi gerek gunluk hayatta, gerekse sportif olaylarda vucut agirliginin tasinmasi, ayakta durma ve yurumenin saglanmasi gibi islevleri olan bir eklemdir. Siklikla yaralanmasi olan bu eklemin morfolojik ozelliklerinin cok iyi bilinmesi gerekmektedir. Bu amacla calismamizda; diz ekleminin morfolojik ozellikleri ile ilgili olan literaturler gozden gecirildi. Yaptigimiz bu calismanin, bu bolge ile ilgili olan patolojilerin teshis ve tedavilerinde klinisyenlere faydali olacagini dusunmekteyiz. Ayrica diz ekleminin daha iyi anlasilmasi icin daha ileri calismalara ihtiyac vardir. As knee joint can be frequently exposed to traumas, it is very important to know the morphological features of this joint. For this reason, we have reviewed the literature related with the morphological specifications of the knee joint in this study. We hope that this study would be beneficial to the physicians in diagnosis and treatment of the pathologies of this region.
