The thread creation method includes: obtaining the number of network card queues of a multi-queue network card of a server, creating processes of the number equal to that of the network card queues, creating a monitoring thread and a plurality of work threads in each process, and respectively binding the created monitoring threads with the different network card queues. By adopting the technical scheme, creation of the processes and the threads is reasonable, and processing efficiency of the server for concurrent business requests is improved.
