Identification of Selectively Damaged mRNA in Response to Oxidative Stress: Characterization of Abasic sites using an Aldehyde Reactive Probe

2010
lipid peroxidation products (iPF2α-III, iPF2 α-VI, 8,12-iso-iPF2 αVI, 8-iso-15(R)-prostaglandin F2 α, 11-β-prostaglandin F2 α, and 2,3-dinor-8-iso-prostaglandin F2 α, 2,3-dinor -8-iso-prostaglandin F1 α ,and 2,3-dinor-11β-Prostaglandin F2α), protein damage products ( dityrosine, nitrotyrosine, and chlorotyrosine), as well as Leukotriene as damage multi-biomarker set. Meanwhile, we also developed various methods to quantify Glutathione (reduced and oxidized), omega-3 and other poly unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins C, E, and A, Co-Q10, carotenoids, and some other enzymatic and non-enzymatic protection markers in human samples. In this presentation, we will discuss oxidative stress assessment at Kronos Science Laboratory.
