On delay-dependent stability for linear systems with interval time-varying delays
2016
In this note, the problem of stability for linear systems with interval time-varying delays is investigated. New Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs) are constructed which contain more information of delay and some triple-integral terms. By combining Jensen's integral inequality with delay decomposition technique and convex combination approach, the upper bound of the derivative of the Lyapunov functional can be estimated more tightly. As a result, some novel less conservative stability criteria are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Numerical examples authenticate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
