Application of Tobacco Flavor Analysis Using Flash Evaporation-Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

2011
Tobacco flavor samples 1146 and 1133 were analyzed using a method of flash evaporation-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(FE-GC-MS).The results showed that 350 ℃ as the optimized flash evaporation temperature and 0.4 mg as injection amount for tobacco favor samples were selected.Eighteen constituents in sample 1146 and thirteen constituents in sample 1133 were successfully identified and quantified by GC-MS.Pyridine,glycerine and theobromine were the main components in sample 1146,and 5-hydroxymethyl furfura,pyridine,5-methylfural were the main components in sample 1133.Compared with ultrasound-assisted liquid-liquid extraction(ULLE),this method was shown to be rapid and simple in the determination of tobacco flavor constituents with good repeatability.
