Evolution and cancer: possible relationships to changes in environmental hydrogen ion concentration.

1980
Abstract Following the correlation of two modern theories dealing with the basic nature of cancer, the concept of H + abnormalities is integrated as a para-hypoxic injury leading towards cancer metabolism. This concept is most likely to open new avenues in environmental prevention of cancer and can lead to a better understanding of some aspects of carcinogenesis and to the inhibition of active carcinogens by an H + interference.
