Tapered roller bearing

2013
A tapered roller bearing (1) is provided with: an outer ring (2) which has an outer ring raceway surface (2a) on the inner peripheral surface thereof; an inner ring (3) which has an inner ring raceway surface (3a) on the outer peripheral surface thereof; and tapered rollers (4) which are disposed in a rollable manner between the outer ring raceway surface (2a) and the inner ring raceway surface (3a). A large flange (3b) is formed at the large diameter-side end of the inner ring (3), and the inner ring raceway surface (3a) continues to the small diameter-side end surface (3c) of the inner ring (3). The contact angle ([alpha]) is in the range of 35 to 55 . As a result of this configuration, the tapered roller bearing has high rigidity against moment and has a long life.
