A cell-based molecular communication network

2006
Molecular communication is engineered biological communication (e.g., cell-to-cell signaling) that allows nanomachines (e.g., engineered organisms, artificial devices) to communicate through the use of chemical signals or molecules. In this paper, we describe a cell-based molecular communication network, a class of molecular communication systems in which nanomachines communicate using a cell-cell communication network.
