건강복지사회 트랜드에 따른대학의 체육학과 교육과정 개발 방향

2009
The purpose of was to explored some directions for the reorganization of PE curriculum at the university level in response to the changing environments both in our society and in or outside the university. Just as physical education has existed in incessant interactions with its environment, it still needs to assimilate and accommodate itself to those changing demands and situations for its sound development and long-term survival. This article, reflecting these changes in positive terms, seeks to variate PE curricula by proposing a cross-department approach in its interdisciplinary spirit. It specifies four alternatives: the training of PE teachers in the traditional designation (Track I), that of infant school and kindergarten PE leaders (Track II), that of sports welfare (excercise rehabilitation) leaders (Track III), and that of sports managers and leaders (Track IV). My analyses have proved these four alternatives, if with some variations in their priorities and extents, to be possible of realization. To carry out the alternatives, on the other hand, it has turned out to be effective to make practical use of such a university system as double-majoring or sub-major rather than to open new curricula in the department of physical education. It is true particularly in terms of the university's financial burden and the professors' teaching time. The directions explored in this article, nevertheless, may have some limits, for whose overcoming it need to make more efforts to secure its objectivity through surveying questionnaires towards the departments of physical education at universities. And I am planning to make up for this limitation in my ensuing studies.
