Dynamic calibration of the electrical power consumption and the performance of data processing systems

In the illustrative embodiments, a method, system and computer program product for dynamic calibration of the electrical power consumption and the performance of a data processing system are provided. A synthesized, loaded into the data processing system program is executed in response to detection of an event in the data processing system. The synthesized program is configured so that it generates a data series indicating the characteristic values ​​for power consumption and performance of the data processing system under varying operating conditions. Using the data series, a power limit for an operation of the data processing system is defined under current operating conditions of the data processing system. A parameter of the data processing system is calibrated to operate the data processing system within the power limitation.
