A non-iterative time-domain sidelobe suppression in doppler shifted LFM waveforms

A time-domain block filtering technique is applied to a pulse of Doppler-shifted linear frequency modulated (LFM) signals and the improvement of sidelobe suppression is investigated in this paper. A brief theoretical methodology of Doppler shift LFM signal and the filtering technique is reviewed. Numerical Simulation and Experimental results are reported. Suppression of 8dB in Integrated Side Lobe Ratio (ISLR) is observed for a signal with 20dB SNR.
