2018
Objective
To observe the clinical efficacy of Angiojet thrombolytic system combined with catheter thrombolysis in the treatment of acute limb arterial embolism and summarize the relevant experience.
Methods
The clinical data for 18 patients with acute limb artery embolism who underwent therapy with Angiojet thrombolytic system combined with catheter thrombolysis at the Affiliated Hefei Hospital of Anhui Medical University from March 2015 to May 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.
Results
All 18 patients were treated with the Angiojet thrombus suction system to manage the occlusion of blood vessels, and the occluded section become patent after treatment, with a patency rate of 100%. No hemorrhage, perforation, or other serious complications occurred during the operation.
Conclusion
Angiojet thrombolysis combined with catheter thrombolysis has the advantages of significant efficacy, little trauma and high safety in the treatment of acute limb arterial embolism, representing an option for patients with acute limb arterial embolism.
