Fiqh Traveller According to Maqasid Shariah

Today, Muslim custom space has changed a lot dynamically due to the evolution of modern lifestyles. According to Crescent Rating’s Halal Travel Frontier 2019 report, ten key trends to be observed in 2019, including budget, culture, demographic and travel, were highlighted. This phenomenon of the tourism industry responds positively and becomes a serious discussion among Muslims, especially when it relates to general and specific Islamic practices, since certain practices differ from continents, countries and states. This paper is therefore concerned with the concept of travel from an Islamic perspective, the importance and challenges of Muslim travellers, the study of travel trends, the analysis of travel-related rule of law (hukm) in order to achieve maqasid al-Shariah for all Muslim travelers around the world.
