National innovation systems for China and India: an analytical framework and a comparative analysis

There are different development modes and connotations behind the fast economic growth of China and India. National Innovation Systems (NISs) have built an effective frame of economy growth in a knowledge-oriented era. Under the NIS approach, this paper analyses China and India's innovation systems from three parts, including the innovation environment, innovation operations and economic performance subsystems. The paper provides some comments based on the comparative results.
