Millimeter Waveband Dielectric Permittivity of Nanocomposites Containing Vanadium Oxides

2020
Dielectric properties of opal-based nanocomposites with particles of oxides and other vanadium compounds are studied. Microwave measurements are carried out in two frequency ranges: from 26 to 38 GHz and from 53 to 78 GHz. The frequency dependences of transmission and reflection coefficients have been measured for a plate of the nanocomposite and the results have been compared to the theoretical approximation of these dependences. The microwave complex dielectric permittivity has been retrieved from these coefficients. Magnetic field dependences of the transmission and reflection coefficients are measured, and it has been established that these dependences involve some characteristic features caused by ferromagnetic resonance and antiresonance.
