The method according to the invention is for performing a load test, high efficiency, equipment (IT) electric, electronic or electromechanical. It consists of replacing the dynamic loads (1) of this equipment (IT) by a simulated load (BS) consisting of an electronic system acting as the load (1) vis-a-vis the equipment (IT). At least a fraction of the electrical energy received by the electronic system (BS) is injected, after having undergone an appropriate conversion to its regeneration, a transmission system and electric power distribution (TR).
