Technology for teaching–learning practices is vital in Secondary Teacher Education Institutions. In order to be conversant with the latest developments in the field, technology helps for teaching-learning practices for the professional growth. The current academic system of courses, credits, and evaluation are wide to meet learner’s needs. Courses are large blocks of content, a learner often only needs small parts of that content, and they are increasingly able to get what they need from different sources. In this regard, this particular study is undertaken as Technology in Education: An Evaluative Study of Secondary Teacher Education Institutions Under North Eastern Hill University Meghalaya, India”, for the Professional Development. The findings indicate that the teaching-learning practices will be in better shape for the coming days if there is a joint effort from Government and Secondary Teacher Education Institutions to use technology in teaching-learning practices under North Eastern Hill University Meghalaya.
