Irregular Proceedings Under Criminal Law

The criminal law, dealing with the matters related to violation of prohibited conduct in society, aims to deliver justice by punishing the guilty and remedying the aggrieved persons. The purpose of criminal law, inter alia, is to protect the interests of society. The criminal law is being implemented by the criminal courts applying the statutes, decisions etc. wherein it has been expected that the courts have to reach at final conclusion without committing any irregularity. But, there may be some circumstances where irregularities have been committed which may be curable irregularity or incurable irregularity. The present paper deals with effects of irregularities committed by a criminal court.
