Teen Dating Violence in Germany: Prevalence, risk factors and impairments

Background The attention for Teen Dating Violence (TDV) as a special and early form of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) has grown internationally. High prevalences and serious effects demonstrate long lasting implications on later life of affected teenagers. TDV is considered a severe public health issue. Prevention is possible, effective and is considered to be a primary prevention of IPV. Because of research gaps in Germany, a survey was designed to answer questions about:
