PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PPKn DI SEKOLAH MENEGAH PERTAMA

The objectives of the study are 1) to produce the students’ worksheet through problem based learning 2) to improve the students’ critical thinking skill on PPKn subject of Junior High School that was valid, practical, and having potential effect. The method used on this study was development methodology by using Rowntree development model. Meanwhile, to be valid, the Students’ Worksheet was assessed by three experts that were from learning design, material speacialist, and language speacialist. The validity was 3.38 (valid) in learning design, 4.31 (very valid) in material, and 4.0 (valid) in language. To assess practicality was used one-to-one step with the mean 4.5 including the very practical category and small group with the mean 4.58 including the very practical category. On the trials phases of this study, the Learners’ Worksheet by using problem based learning had potential effect to improve the students’ critical thinking skill. It was proven with having potential effect that improved the students’ critical thinking skill on the observation sheet, then obtaining the percentage 80% (good) and the result of t-value (n-gain) 0.7 (fair). Based on the result, the study showed that the Students’ Worksheet through problem based learning on PPKn subject in Junior High School was revealed that was valid, practical and having potential effect toward the students’ critical thinking skill.
