The Clinical Analysis of Placenta Accreta Postpartum Hemorrhage with Interventional Therapy

Objective: To investigate the effectiveness and safety about interventional therapy for postpartum hemorrhage of placenta accreta.Method: Analysis the treatment,prognosis and adverse reactions for 13 cases,which were diagnosed postpartum hemorrhage of placenta accreta and were used uterine arterial infusion of methotrexate combined with embolization in our hospital from June 2003 to May 2010.Result: In 13 patients,12 cases were successful hemostasis and retained the uterus with the success rate of 92.3%,only 1 patient with postoperative hysterectomy.In patients after surgery the adverse reactions were mild,and the blood HCG,hormones and menstrual cycle in 3 to 8 months became normal.4 patients had pregnancy and were natural labor again.Conclusion: The intervention treatment for placenta accreta postpartum hemorrhage is the prefered therapeutic method,because of significantly curative effect,high success rate,maximatily of the retention of uterus and fertility and little side effects.
