Exocrine pancreatic disease of snakes
2009
A histopathological study has been made of the pancreas obtained at post mortem from a small series of exotic snakes that died in a zoological garden. More than one-third of the cases showed pathological changes in the gland. A variety of ductal and parenchymal pancreatic lesions were found; the morphology of these lesions is briefly described, and their nature and cause discussed.
