Laboratory bioassays, on Dociostaurus maroccanus nymphs and adults, has shown that Beauveria bassiana isolates, EABb90-2/Dm and EABb91-6/Ci, have higher insecticidal activity than those from Metarhizium anisopliae and M. Flavoviridae BBDDarmstadt. The isolate EABb90-2/Dm, from D. maroccanus is 11 fold more effective than the isolate EABb91-6/Ci, from C. italicus.
