Growth in coronary-subclavian anastomoses. Long-term clinical confirmation after treatment of anomalous left main coronary artery.
1981
Three patients with anomalous left main coronary artery arising from the pulmonary artery were treated. The subclavian artery was used to construct a two coronary system. Intraoperative blood flow studies demonstrated increased total blood flow to the myocardium in all cases. Preoperative and postoperative angiograms demonstrated growth of the vessels and anastomoses, which confirmed previous findings from our laboratory.
