An empirical investigation on knowledge use in virtual communities–A relationship development perspective

This study aims to understand the formation of knowledge use.Knowledge use includes knowledge reuse and knowledge new use.We propose a belief-motivation-use model to explain the formation of knowledge use.We draw on the integration between the dedication-constraint framework and social cognitive theory.The proposed hypotheses are largely supported by the empirical results.
