Metabolic Patterns in Chronic Multiple Sclerosis Lesions and Normal-appearing White Matter: Intraindividual Comparison by Using 2D MR Spectroscopic Imaging

Even very early in the disease course of multiple sclerosis, normal-appearing white matter exhibits the same pathologic changes as chronic white-matter lesions, further supporting the view that such lesions may not be as relevant to clinical prognosis as widely assumed.
