Анализ токсичности нанокомпозитов гадолиния

The article presents the results of a biosafety study of two gadolinium nanocomposites encapsulated in a natural polymer matrix of arabinogalactan and given a comparative assessment of their toxicity. Nanocomposite was administered at a dose of 500 µg / kg body weight intragastrically using a probe. Further, by the methods of histological and immunohistochemical analysis, the severity of the biological response of the organism to the introduction of these nanocomposites was evaluated. The state of the liver tissue and sensorimotor cortex was assessed. The number of neurons with expression of the proapoptotic protein caspase 3, the anti-apoptotic protein bcl-2 and the stress protein HSP 70 was determined in brain tissue.
