Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: The Interface between Illusion and Reality in Aesthetic Surgery

Many patients present to the cosmetic surgeon requesting a procedure, but not all are suitable, for various reasons. There are some fairly prevalent subtypes to watch for, both for the interests of the surgeon and patient. Guidelines for patient selection are presented.
