Lisura superficial da resina composta frente a técnicas de polimento

2015
Surface smoothness is one of the ultimate objectives of restorative treatment. Present study compares four polishing techniques in composite resin. Made polishing in sixty specimens of composite resin divided in four groups by polishing techniques: sanding discs, silicon tips, felt discs with abrasive pasts and sanding discs together with felt discs. Measured the surface roughness in micrometers, processed the data statistically. No statistical difference between the techniques regarding the superiority of one over the others, being all effective according to roughness admitted in the literature as acceptable.
