Analysis of performance of a converted electric vehicle

In this paper, the conversion of combustion engine vehicles to electrical vehicles is treated. Colombia, like other developing countries has come incorporating different electrical vehicles in the automotive national market. However, this kind of vehicles continue being expensive. Transformation of used traditional vehicles (combustion) to electrical vehicles is an interesting option, which could be a cheaper alternative than any purchase of new electrical vehicle. This work describes a methodology to transform a traditional vehicle in an electrical vehicle, showing the big impact in the mitigation of greenhouse gases.
