The invention relates to a method for air surveillance, comprising a first control and acquisition system (100) and a second control and acquisition system (200), wherein the first control and acquisition system (100) comprises a first aircraft (110) and a first control and detecting unit (120) and the second control and acquisition system (200) a second aircraft (210) and a second control and detection unit (220). According to the invention it is provided that a of the first control and detection unit (120) and from the second control and detection unit (220) different air traffic control system (300) is provided from the first control and detection unit (120) first data (130) relative to the first aircraft (110) are transmitted (300) to the air traffic control system and from the air traffic control system (300) data (310) to the first data (130) based, are sent to the second control and detection unit (210). In this way, a method is provided which enables a cross-system air surveillance.
