1P-147 : Extraordinary specific shielding effectiveness per unit areal mass density of nano meter controlled Ti 3 C 2 Tx MXene thin film by interfacial self-assembly

2019
MXene is a new class of 2D transition metal carbides. The EMI shielding effectiveness of MXene film has been expected, resulting from its high metallic conductivity and solution process ability. However, previous studies have limited to only micrometer-thickness of the films due to the problem of controlling nanoscale thickness. In this work, we reported that nanometer-thick MXene, especially Ti3C2Tx, films were fabricated by introducing interfacial self-assembly of exfoliated Ti3C2Tx flakes in solution. A uniformly multi-stacked MXene led to the extraordinary large specific shielding effectiveness per unit areal mass density.
