Challenges and Solutions for hybrid SDN

Abstract This Editorial summarizes the Special Issue entitled Challenges and Solutions for hybrid SDN (Chal. & sol. HSDN) published in Elsevier’s Computer Networks during 2021. We first provide the motivation and context for such a Special Issue, followed by a short explanation and classification of the articles accepted for publication, and concluded with some envisioned future research directions.
