DESNITRIFICAÇÃO DE EFLUENTES DA PARBOILIZAÇÃO DO ARROZ NO TOPO DE REATORES UASB

RICE WASTEWATER DENITRIFICATION IN THE TOP OF UASB REACTORS. It was studied a process where denitrification take place in the top of the UASB reactor. The monitored parameters were COD, TKN, ammonium nitrogen, nitrites, nitrates, pH, temperature and Total volatile fatty acids. The process removed 80 % of TKN influent, without decrease of the COD removal.
