Linear feedback control in terrestrial magnetic field Rikitake chaotic system

A linear feedback method is proposed to control terrestrial magnetic field Rikitake chaotic system. Control principle is introduced, and numerical simulation is made using Matlab. Numerical simulation results show that when feedback coefficient λ is taken properly, the orbits of the system can be changed from chaotic attractor into the periodic orbits in phase, and the numbers of periodic orbits are 2n×3mp(n, m are integers), which shows the method is simple and efficient.
