On a design of wide range magnet for cyclotron

1959
Abstract A design principle of electromagnets is described in which the magnetic induction B in the pole iron is constant. By this design, we can have a constant relative distribution of magnetic field in the gap for a wide range of field. Results of applications in two cases are described.
